FOAM EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM

Foam extinguishing is a type of extinguishing when foam is used to extinguish a fire. This extinguishing agent has an enhanced wetting properties and makes it possible to combat specific fires effectively.

Advantages of foam extinguishing:

  • Ensuring the extinguishing effect with less water. The foam forms the composition of the air bubbles. Air bubbles release oxygen from the burning surface. Depending on the multiplicity (multiplicity means the volume ratio of foam to emulsion), the amount of water can be reduced 4 to 1000 times to achieve the extinguishing effect.

  • Cools the burning surface;

  • Extinguishing fires on large areas. As the foam flows smoothly over the surface, there is no need for a large number of foam generators / drents.

  • Possibility of bulk deletion. This is possible with the use of high quality foam.

  • Foam extinguishing is especially effective in extinguishing petroleum products. There is a surface and subsurface foam extinguishing method.

  • Low density.

  • High wetting feature.

Foaminess is an important key indicator. Multiplicity means how much

volume in liters occurs  foam from one  per liter of foam emulsion.

  • Low foaming is up to 20;

  • The average foam frequency is between 20 and 200;

  • The high foam ratio is 200 to 1000;

Main components of foam extinguishing systems:

  • Foam generators (nozzles, foam generators, foam monitors, etc.)

  • Foam dispensers;

  • Foam tanks;

  • Fire pumps;

FIRETEK OFFERS THE CONSTRUCTION OF FOAM EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS.

WE HAVE A TEAM OF 30 LOCKSMITHS AND COMPETENT PROJECT MANAGERS.

According to the customer's request FIRETEK offers 2D or 3D design of foam extinguishing systems.

We use a special design program AUTOSPRINK (MEP CAD, USA).

The company has three licenses.

The design stages are the preliminary design, the main design and the working design.

FIRETEK OFFERS FOAM EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SPRINKLER STANDARD EVS EN 12845: 2015,  EVS  812-52014 and EVS  EN  13565-2: 2019  REQUIREMENTS.

(maintenance is performed according to the requirements of the sprinkler standard).

Maintenance must be weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, annual, three-year, ten-year, twenty-five years old.
