FOAM EMULSION

FireDos FOAM PROPORTIONING SYSTEMS

FireDos is an automatic foaming system that dispenses foam exactly according to the water flow rate and, unlike foam mixers, line foam dispensers and re-pump systems, does not depend on multiple variables below the flow and amount of equipment running. The foam system has a water motor that uses the energy of the water flow and has an extremely low pressure drop: up to a maximum flow of 1.8 bar.

FireDos foam systems have a water flow rate of 40 l / min to 20,000 l / min. By connecting the systems together, larger flows can also be passed.

The dosing percentage is 0.1% to 6% - according to the customer's wishes.

FireDos systems are manufactured:

  • in the portable version

  • in the local version

  • in the mobile version

  • in the easily disassembled version

FOAM AFFF

The water-forming foam is intended for extinguishing Class B hydrocarbon fires, such as oil, diesel, gasoline, aviation heating. This foam can be used with both foam and water jets. The foaming agent that forms the water film is particularly well suited for the rapid killing of flames: the thin water film formed at the molecular level travels along the burning surface in front of the foam layer and dampens the flames even before the foam layer arrives. The foam can be used with all available extinguishing powders and can be used in dual extinguishing foam / powder systems. The water-forming foam is available in concentrations of 6%, 3%, 1% and 0.5%. There are also several different versions for frost resistance and different approved foams: UL, FM, Lloyd, EN 1568, Bureau Veritas, ICAO - according to customer requirements.

The AFFF foam selection can be found here :

FOAM AFFF ARC

The alcohol-resistant water-forming foam is intended for extinguishing Class B hydrocarbon fires, such as oil, diesel, gasoline, aviation heating, as well as polar solvent decomposing foam fires, such as methanol, isopropanol, gasoline additive MTBE, and others. This foam can be used with both foam and water jets. The fine water film formed at the molecular level in oil, diesel and gasoline fires travels along the burning surface in front of the foam layer and dampens the flames even before the foam layer arrives. In alcohol fires, the foam forms a thick polymer layer that protects the foam layer from aggressive liquids. The foam can be used with all available fire extinguishing powders. The alcohol-resistant water-forming foam is available in concentrations of 3x6% (3% for gasoline fires; 6% for alcohol fires), 3x3%, 1x3%, and 1x1%, in a conventional embodiment, and in a particularly fluid (Newtonian) embodiment. There are also several different versions for frost resistance and different approved foams: UL, FM, Lloyd, EN 1568, Bureau Veritas, RINA, DNV - according to customer requirements. A Miljö version is available - especially environmentally friendly.

FOAM Synthetic Multi Purpose

It is a universal foam that forms low, medium and high order foams.

There are two types of LS and MB:

  • LS is a foaming agent that can extinguish Class B hydrocarbon fires (oil, diesel, gasoline, aviation fuel, polar substances such as acetone, isopropyl alcohol, etc.), such as spilled heating minor cuts (low and medium frequency), hazardous basements and engine rooms (medium and high frequency), fires of cryogenic combustible liquids; evaporation of toxic liquids can also be prevented. Medium multiplicity is better suited for extinguishing smaller spaces, such as basements in buildings; however, the high frequency of the equipment for flooding the cargo and engine rooms. This foam is especially good for use in poorly accessible rooms and where fire damage must be minimized.

  • MB is a universal foaming agent that forms low, medium and high-frequency foams that can extinguish Class B hydrocarbon fires, such as spilled heating small sections (low and medium multiplicity), hazardous basements and marine engine rooms (medium and high multiplicity), cryogenic combustible liquids. ; evaporation of toxic liquids can also be prevented. Medium and high frequency HiEx foam can be used for total immersion of Class A and B fires. Medium multiplicity is better suited for extinguishing smaller spaces, such as basements in buildings; however, the high frequency of the equipment for flooding the cargo and engine rooms. This foam is especially good for use in poorly accessible rooms and where fire damage must be minimized.

FOAM Fluorine free

Do not form in water film in gasoline fires (although the resulting foam layer also effectively extinguishes gasoline), but forms a thick polymer membrane in polar liquid fires. This is a cheaper solution for objects where it is known in advance that these are only polar combustible liquids: alcohols, solvents, etc.

FOAM Foam Solutions

Ready-to-use alcohol-resistant mixture of water and foam. A reliable fire-fighting design is achievable for all types of fires.

In polar liquid fires, Alpha forms a thick polymer membrane that protects the foam layer from decomposition.

In fires of non-polar heating, it forms a fine film of water that moves in front of the foam layer and dampens the flames before the foam layer reaches (AFFF effect).

Alpha R is designed to have a much longer lifespan than conventional water and AFFF blends.

This solution is also alcohol-resistant and stable on storage, unlike conventional ARC solutions.

Ideal for use in stand-alone CAFS systems.

FOAM Class

Specially selected mixture of surfactants, solvents and stabilizers for high activity hydrocarbons for use in Class A fires. Forrex Ultra does not contain any hazardous substances and does not require special transport labels. Forrex Ultra provides excellent Class A fire fighting, ensuring deep penetration of water into combustible materials. At low concentrations, the foam can be used simply as a wetting agent. Forrex Ultra is well suited for use with foam pipes and generators as well as conventional water jets. The foam is compatible with all available extinguishing powders.

The selection of Class A foam can be found here :

http://www.fomtec.com/class-a/category40.html

FOAM FFFP

The water film-forming fluoroprotein foam contains hydrolyzed protein, preservatives and fluorinated surfactants for maximum synergistic fire-fighting effect. The mixture of fluorochemicals selected is effective in reducing the surface tension of the water as well as lowering the tension between the water and oil sufficiently to form a stable aqueous film on the surface of the combustible liquid. As a result, higher fire extinguishing properties are achieved than with synthetic foams. The addition of protein to the composition provides a dense foam layer with excellent re-ignition resistance. The foam is available in concentrations of 3% or 6% and with approvals and compliances such as ICAO, EN 1568.

The selection of FFFP foam can be found here :

FOAM FFFP ARC

FFFP ARC is a universal foam that can be used as an effective water-film-forming fluoroprotein foam in hydrocarbon fires and as an alcohol-resistant foam in polar solvent fires to form a thick polymer membrane on the surface of the combustible liquid. FFFP ARC ensures a reliable performance even for the combustion of the harshest liquids. Its excellent fire-fighting design for all types of combustible liquids, whether low or medium foam, ensures maximum safety in both mobile fire and local fire protection. FFFP ARC is available in concentrations of 3x3% and 3x6% (3% for hydrocarbons and 6% for polar solvents). A 3x3% concentration foam is available in the Avalanche NV version, which is a highly effective liquid based on an environmentally friendly protein and does not contain the thickening polymers of the usual alcohol-resistant foam. Its high flowability makes dosing foam easier and more accurate for both portable and stationary dispensers, even at the lowest temperatures (-18ºC). Avalanche NV has the advantage of dosing at 3% for all Class B fires, including polar solvents when using fresh or sea water. Avalanche NV complies with the EN 1568 standard.
