FLOATING SUCTION SCREEN

​

A floating suction strainer is an indispensable tool that can "save the day" in many firefighting situations. The floating suction strainer allows you to use water from both ponds and rivers, both shallow and deep. Because the floating suction screen absorbs water from floating debris and foam, and above sand and mud, it avoids materials that wear out impellers, ball bearings and seals. As the swimming screens are self-leveling, no vortices or interruptions in water absorption occur. The suction strainer sucks water to a depth of a few inches where the water is clean. The weight of the hose tilts the position of the suction screen, but the float maintains the level.

Floating screens are available with input sizes 2.5 "to 6", with BSP thread, Storz or Bogdanov connections.

POOL SUCTION SCREEN

​

The suction strainer of the pool works at full productivity until the water level drops to 5 cm. 
The turbulence of the water surface does not affect this suction screen. Available input sizes: 2.5 "to 6".
